COMMON WRITTEN EXAMINATION RECRUITMENT FOR RRBs 2012

A Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted by the Institute Of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) as a pre-requisite (pre-qualification) for recruitment of personnel for Group-“A” - Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group-“B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose) posts in the Regional Rural Banks.
This system of Common Examination for recruitment of Officers and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) has been approved by the Government of India, notified by NABARD and has the mandate of each of the RRBs. 

IBPS, an autonomous body registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 and a Public
Trust under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950, has been authorised to conduct the Common Written Examination. The CWE for Officers and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) posts will be conducted twice a year by IBPS.
